We are a family run business that has been Sydney’s most popular choice in Childcare and Preschool Photography for over 14 years. Our unique style of natural outdoor portraiture, photographing the children while they are at play in their natural environment, results in beautiful images that capture the individual personality of each child. Our easy and efficient systems and very flexible photographers make sure that photo day is smooth flowing and enjoyable for directors, staff and children. We understand that every Centre has different routines and every child within that Centre has different needs and we always try to accommodate for this.
Our relaxed, organic approach to photographing children ensure that each child is photographed at their own pace and no child is ever forced to have their photo taken. We understand that it can often take a while for children to warm up, so we will always take the time required for each child to feel comfortable and excited to have their photo taken.
At Sandpit Photos, we pride ourselves on our team of talented and creative photographers. Our photographers have been selected for their childcare experience, passion for portrait photography, and most importantly, their affinity with children. Our team’s number one goal is to produce beautiful photos in a fun and relaxed atmosphere
Sarah is one of our most familiar faces, shooting for Sandpit Photos since 2005 “I do lots of different types of photography, but my favourite is still children’s photography. I love being around the kids as they are so much fun and have such a beautiful way of looking at the world, and I love the images that come from this.
I have worked in the production side of photography for over 10 years. I love seeing the children’s personalities shine through in all the photos. It is a joy to work with such a great team to produce something so special.
Taking photos of children has always been one of my strong interests. I enjoy every aspect of photography, the creativity and capturing that smile and seeing each individual personality from within shine through! I love working with the children its so rewarding.
Sam has been a portrait photographer for more than 9 years. “I still enjoy what I do and get great satisfaction from hearing parents say how fantastic the photographs of their kids are.”
Children and family portraits are my passion, it’s so rewarding to see the joy my work brings to people when they see the photos. Working with kids is amazing, no day is the same and I always come home with memories of laughing with the kids.
I have been working with children for the past eight years and I have my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education. I’ve always had an interest in photography and love combining my two passions. Working with children has meant that I have been lucky enough to see how their smile can brighten anyone’s day and I love being able to make that happen with the photos I take.
As a Mum and a lover of photography, outdoors and nature, I appreciate working at a company where we are all a small community sharing the passion of creativity. I love the style of photography at Sandpit Photos, where the beauty of children is combined with nature and the outdoors to create stunning images that I get to admire every day.
With a background in Child Care and a love of photography, this is the perfect job for me. I love having fun with the kids and capturing their individual personalities. It is a great team here at Sandpit and we always have so much fun on the shoots.
I started my photography career journey more than 17 years ago and I am so grateful that my passion has evolved into a full time career. Specialising in capturing images of families and their children at all stages of their lives, it is a privilege to be able to capture special moments for our clients to treasure forever.
I have completed a diploma of Photo Imaging at Sydney Ultimo Tafe in 2015 and a Certificate III in Fine Arts Photography in 2014. With a strong passion for photography, children and the outdoors combining them created my dream job. I love having the freedom at Sandpit Photos to create beautiful images that are lasting memories for families.
I love the spirit and energy of children. As a Mother of two girls, I know the joy that can be brought to a parent from a beautiful photo of their child and I love being a part of this process. I also love being a part of such a fun and creative team and look forward to coming to work every day.
In 2015 I completed an advanced diploma in Creative Product Development (Photography) at the Canberra Institute of Technology. Photography has always been a passion of mine. I am now fortunate enough to pursue my love of portrait photography with Sandpit Photos. Interacting with children and being able to make them smile is one of the most important parts of my job and by far the most enjoyable.
From as young as I can remember, I have had a camera in my hands. I have worked in the photographic industry for almost 30 years. After having my daughter 9 years ago, I realised how much fun it is to photograph children so turned my focus to children’s photography. I am now very lucky to be working for Sandpit Photos and look forward to going to work everyday and enjoying the fun and laughter we have with the children.
What I love most about my job is the kids, the fun I have interacting with them and making them giggle for the perfect shot. It’s a privilege to capture such special memories for their families to treasure.
I was always known as being obsessed with taking photos from Primary School to High School and then College, and now It is what I do. It was an obsession that grew into a profession! I started my own business last year doing all aspects of photography, including models, families, events, weddings and bands. The same year I was offered a position with Sandpit and couldn’t resist the offer!
I have diplomas in both Children’s Services and Photo-imaging and was working in the childcare industry for over 10 years before choosing to follow a career in photography. I have been with Sandpit Photos since 2009 and love having the opportunity to interact with children and their families on a daily basis, capture their precious moments to be kept for years to come.
I have always had a strong interest in photography, I’m now fortunate to be able to work in this industry. I love that I have the opportunity to capture the innocence and beauty of young children though my photographs for families to treasure.
Photography has been my passion since I was young and capturing children and their cheeky ways is one of the best aspects of it. After starting a Wedding/Portrait business in 2010, I was offered the opportunity to work with Sandpit Photos. As a mother of two young children, I jumped at the chance to give other parents memories of their children’s experiences as they grow.
I often thought that being a photographer would be my dream job. I never thought that dream would become a reality. After starting my own family, I shot for Sydney’s Taronga Zoo and then accepted a job with Sandpit Photos. Ten years later, I am still loving my job. I love that each day brings something different and every child has something unique to share.
I have worked teaching Martial Arts to children for many years and absolutely love working with children. I am also very creative, so this is the perfect job for me. I am able to combine my creativity and working with children, in a really fun environment, surrounded by a great team of photographers.
